Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Quran AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Quran AI is an educational app that provides:

• Access to the complete Quran text with English translations
• AI-powered Tafsir search that finds and relays verified scholarly interpretations of Quranic verses
• Reading plans and progress tracking
• Prayer time notifications
• Bookmarking and note-taking features

AI Tafsir Search

Important: Our AI does not generate or create Tafsir. It is a search tool that finds and relays verified scholarly interpretations from trusted classical sources like Ibn Kathir, Al-Tabari, and Al-Qurtubi. Please note:

• AI Tafsir results are for educational purposes only
• The AI searches for and relays established scholarly interpretations, it does not create its own
• AI can make mistakes and may not always relay information accurately
• Always verify important matters with qualified Islamic scholars
• Do not rely solely on AI for religious rulings (fatwa)
• This tool is not a replacement for traditional learning with qualified scholars

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App respectfully and for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to abuse, exploit, or reverse-engineer the App
• Not use the AI features to generate inappropriate or harmful content
• Treat the Quranic content with appropriate respect

Subscriptions & Payments

• Some features require a premium subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
• Prices are displayed in the App before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Intellectual Property

• The App design, code, and original content are owned by Quran AI
• Quranic text is in the public domain
• English translations are used under appropriate licenses (Sahih International)
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The accuracy of AI Tafsir search results
• That the App will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quran AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with standard legal procedures.
